Restaurant giant to acquire St-Hubert


Quebec-based restaurant chain St-Hubert is set to be acquired by Cara, owners of Milestones, Swiss Chalet, and Montana’s (to name a few).

Two food manufacturing plants and 120 St-Hubert outlets have been purchased by Cara for $537 million. The company aims to solidify its presence in Quebec and is “proud” to have this jewel under its belt.

The Vaughan, Ontario based company¬†currently has 1,010 franchised restaurants, 37 located internationally. No word has yet been released on what will happen to St-Hubert’s 10,000 employees.
